The Wegmans company has announced that a new location will open in Norwalk, Connecticut, in the near future. You’ll be able to find it off Connecticut Avenue near Route I-95. At this point, Wegmans stores are already in Maryland. Currently, there are eight locations spread across the state. Maryland residents who live in Rockville will likely rejoice very soon when a new Wegmans comes to their area. Recently Opened: Florida

There are several new stores that opened in Florida over the last year. One of them, which is located in Saint Cloud, opened in December. A final Florida store opened at 9179 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. All of these locations have been opened for a few months, so they’re fully stocked and ready to go.

Recently Opened: Georgia

In December, another new Publix opened in Georgia. The store is located at 9179 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. This location has the grocery, pharmacy, and liquor section. This is a large location with a lot to offer that you don’t want to miss.

Opening Soon: Walton, KY

The Publix chain is expanding presence in Kentucky by opening a few more stores in the near future. The first one will be at 430 Richwood Rd, Walton, KY 41094. It’s opening on March 26. There will be grocery, liquor, and pharmacy. Go there on opening day and you might get some great deals!

Opening Soon: Haines City, FL

Florida will get yet another Publix to its growing list in mid-March. The store will be in Polk County at 4112 E Johnson Ave, Haines City, FL. This will be a large 48,387 square foot store with pharmacy, grocery, and liquor.

The great state of North Carolina is getting a new Publix on March 12. The store will be in Mecklenburg County at 11525 Carmel Commons Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28226. This location will have the great bakery, a pharmacy, and a wonderful, helpful staff.

Opening Soon: Pensacola, FL

The growing list of stores in Florida will grow with a new Publix that will be opening March in Escambia County. You’ll be able to find it at 9500 W Hwy 98, Pensacola, FL 32506. The store will have the bakery, pharmacy, liquor section, and great prices all year long.

Opening Soon: Newberry, FL 

Yes, another store will be opening in Florida. This time, it will be in Newberry. More specifically, you’ll find it at 24100 W Newberry Rd, Ste 10, Newberry, FL 32669 in Alachua County. This is one of the largest stores they have. At 54,964 square feet, you’ll have all the food you could need plus a pharmacy and liquor section.

Opening Soon: Lexington, KY

The great city of Lexington will be getting a great Publix store in early March. The 46,791 will be located at 1952 Stockton Way, Lexington, KY 40511 and include a pharmacy, liquor, large bakery section, and more. This is yet another option in the city of Lexington.

Opening Soon: Miami, FL

As if Miami, Florida couldn’t get any better, the city will be getting another new Publix. This one will be at 13005 SW 89th Pl, Miami, FL 33176 in the Briar Bay Shopping Center. It’s another large store at over 53,000 square feet. This store may be open by the time you read this. It’s slated to open on February 27. Opening Soon: Panama City Publix

The final new Publix for the time being will be located at 3213 W Hwy 390, Panama City, FL 32405. The store is slated to open on February 26th in Bay Country. The store will have everything you love about Publix, including the pharmacy and liquor section.

New Texas Stores

The great state of Texas will also be adding to its collection of Trader Joe’s locations. At this point, there are two Texas stores that have recently opened or are soon to open. New Nevada Stores

This is a great town to visit if you want to soak in the beauty of the mountains. Hop on the Tanyard Creek Nature Trails to really soak in the beauty. For an extra thrill, take a detour to War Eagle Cavern, which is a living cavern that will really blow you away.

Batesville

History buffs should stop by Batesville because they’ll get they’ll get their full of Americana. Start by heading downtown, where many of the buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. One of them is the Melba Theater, so stop by for a show. Then, head to the Old Independence Regional Museum and learn about the town of Batesville and what it looked like before.

Russellville

Heber Springs

If you’re an old-school traveler, you may remember this town by its original name, which was Sugar Loaf. While it’s been renamed, it’s still a wonderful quaint town that you should visit. The town has been around since the mid-1800s and part of its charm is being home to lovely mineral springs. There’s also a large manmade lake that’s over 31,000 acres, which makes it perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, and tubing. 

Once you’re back on land, head downtown to the historic district, where you can see large, beautiful landmarks, such as the town square and the courthouse. You can easily spend a day there while checking out the museum and the numerous thrift and antique stores and then catching a show at the downtown theater. This is a place where you could take the family for a long vacation.

North Little Rock

North Little Rock offers you a refuge away from the hustle and bustle of the larger Little Rock area. Here in this small town, you can be near the big city and even go on a tour there if you want. Then, come back and enjoy the scenery here. There are many scenic trails you can enjoy that go along the Arkansas River.

While you’re out, walk through Burns Park, where you’ll find gold courses, playgrounds, and even a full-scale amusement park where there’s fun for you and your kids. Finally, get your camera and head to the Old Mill. It’s a gorgeous piece of architecture from the 1800s that you may recognize from the film “Gone with the Wind.” North Little Rock is a nice, safe town where you can unwind and relax. Magnolia

If you enjoy BBQ, then you might go to Magnolia to see the World’s Largest Charcoal Grill. Once your stomach is full, you can go on and learn more about the history of the area by visiting some of the older structures. They include the South Arkansas Heritage Museum and the Columbia County Jail. Finally, take your bike to Logoly State Park and explore the trails.

Altus

You may not have realized that Arkansas has a flourishing wine country. It’s a fact, and the quaint town of Altus is at the heart of it all. Travel throughout the town, and you’ll come across four separate vineyards. You can tour and enjoy each of them. While you do, you can get a spectacular view of the Ozark mountains.

All the wineries are of the finest quality, so if you’re a fan, you need to check them out. Siloam Springs

Ozark

El Dorado

There’s the Newton House museum, where you can check out great exhibits that show you how the town has changed over time. Nature lovers have a couple of options here. There’s the South Arkansas Arboretum which is packed with colorful flowers that will stir your soul. After that, head to either Oil Heritage Park or Mattocks Park and sit on the grass, have a picnic, or take a walk and soak in the natural beauty.

Fairfield Bay

If you’ve got a week off of work and you want to visit one of the most gorgeous lakeside resorts in the country, then stop by the small town of Fairfield Bay. As the name suggests, this is the go-to place to visit in Arkansas for all things aquatic fun. There are beaches and water activities galore. You can go boating, skiing, fishing, tubing, or anything else your heart desires.

If you rather have fun on land and you enjoy golfing, then Fairfield Bay is also the place for you. This town has fourteen beautiful golf courses. Try one or all of them and relax on the links. There are a couple of very lovely and quaint lodging options here as well. We recommend staying in the Cobblestone Inn & Suites where you can get an amazing room at a good price, which is great because with so much to do, you won’t likely be spending a lot of time there.

Mountain View

Mountain View is a great small town to visit if you love music, especially folk music. This is one of the folk centers of the world. You can get your fill here. Start by visiting the Stone County Museum. That’s where you can learn the long history of the folk tradition in Mountain View. Then, walk around town, and you’ll see little hints of the folk tradition in stores and restaurants. 

If you play an instrument, bring it along, and you could form a band! There are plenty of other fun activities here as well. If you love hiking, you can visit the Ozark Folk Center State Park and then check out the H.S. Mabry Barn. For a little more outdoor adventure, head to Loco Ropes. While there, you can ride fun zip lines and try your hand at unique rope climbing missions.

Mountain Home

The name of this town just screams happiness and relaxation. As the name suggests, this town is situated near the Ozark Mountains, so there are endless opportunities to hike, bike, and enjoy the natural beauty. To get a real thrill, stop by Cooper Park. There’s a mountain lake there where you can swim in the freshest of waters.

There are also many different parks in the area, including Keller Park, where you can go hiking or exploring or hit a few balls on the baseball diamond. Rogers

New Location in Ocala, FL

Another Wawa is headed to Florida in the city of Ocala. If you live there, you know that there are already six locations in the state – but who can get enough Wawa?! This new location will be at 2277 S.W. Highway 484.

The First of Many New Wawas in New Jersey

There are many more Wawa locations coming to the state of New Jersey. The first on this list is the gas station coming to 75 Route 206. This will be one of over 290 stations in the state.

A Wawa in Logan Township

Yet another Wawa to add to the nearly 300 locations in the state will be found in Logan Township. More specifically, it will be at 2691 Route 322. If you’re a true Wawa fan, then you can drive 30 minutes and check out the company’s headquarters, which is in Media, Pennsylvania.

Continued Expansion in Piscataway

It seems that Wawas will never stop growing in New Jersey because a new station can be found at Stelton Avenue and S. Washington Avenue.

Wawa in West Windsor, New Jersey

The final confirmed new Wawa can be found in West Windsor. The new gas station is already a big hit. It’s incredible what this company is doing in New Jersey and it’s even more wild to consider that the company began as an iron foundry way back in 1803.

Wawa in Rocky Mount

In the near future, the Wawa company hopes to have at least 10 new gas stations in North Carolina. That plan continues with the new location in Rocky Mount, NC. You can find it at 1450 Benvenue Road.

A Wilson Wawa

The final new Wawa in North Carolina will be found in Wilson, NC and located at 5003 Raleigh Road Parkway W.

3 New Wawa Locations in Ohio

There are also more Wawa locations coming to Ohio. If they’re not there yet, don’t worry – they’re coming soon. You’ll find them in Liberty Township, Noblesville, and Huber Heights. This is a big move for the company, and an exciting development for residents of Ohio.

If you love gorgeous architecture, you can stop by the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel.

It’s a huge chapel that combines gorgeous glasswork with stunning arches. Bring your camera because you won’t want to miss it. This is a great town to visit if you want to soak in the beauty of the mountains. Hop on the Tanyard Creek Nature Trails to really soak in the beauty. For an extra thrill, take a detour to War Eagle Cavern, which is a living cavern that will really blow you away.

Batesville

History buffs should stop by Batesville because they’ll get they’ll get their full of Americana. Start by heading downtown, where many of the buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. One of them is the Melba Theater, so stop by for a show. Then, head to the Old Independence Regional Museum and learn about the town of Batesville and what it looked like before.

Heber Springs

If you’re an old-school traveler, you may remember this town by its original name, which was Sugar Loaf. While it’s been renamed, it’s still a wonderful quaint town that you should visit. The town has been around since the mid-1800s and part of its charm is being home to lovely mineral springs. There’s also a large manmade lake that’s over 31,000 acres, which makes it perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, and tubing. 

Once you’re back on land, head downtown to the historic district, where you can see large, beautiful landmarks, such as the town square and the courthouse. You can easily spend a day there while checking out the museum and the numerous thrift and antique stores and then catching a show at the downtown theater. This is a place where you could take the family for a long vacation.

North Little Rock

North Little Rock offers you a refuge away from the hustle and bustle of the larger Little Rock area. Here in this small town, you can be near the big city and even go on a tour there if you want. Then, come back and enjoy the scenery here. There are many scenic trails you can enjoy that go along the Arkansas River.

While you’re out, walk through Burns Park, where you’ll find gold courses, playgrounds, and even a full-scale amusement park where there’s fun for you and your kids. Finally, get your camera and head to the Old Mill. It’s a gorgeous piece of architecture from the 1800s that you may recognize from the film “Gone with the Wind.” North Little Rock is a nice, safe town where you can unwind and relax. Magnolia

They include the South Arkansas Heritage Museum and the Columbia County Jail. Finally, take your bike to Logoly State Park and explore the trails.

Altus

You may not have realized that Arkansas has a flourishing wine country. It’s a fact, and the quaint town of Altus is at the heart of it all. Fairfield Bay

North Little Rock
