48 Cities Where Red Lobster Locations are Closing (Florida, Texas, and Other States)

Red Lobster is currently in the process of exploring bankruptcy, and media reports indicate a filing could come within the next few weeks. A bankruptcy would allow the company to reorganize and negotiate costly leases, debt from its creditors, and potentially even labor agreements.

Yet, even before an official bankruptcy filing, the company is making major changes. Auctions are being held for equipment from 48 different Red Lobster locations that are closing across 21 states. Prior to these closures, Red Lobster reported more than 700 locations, so most stores will stay open. However, if you live by any of these stores and like Red Lobster, you'll have to find another location to visit.
