As parents, we try our best to treat our kids well, but no matter how hard we try, making mistakes is part of being a parent. Whether we have a bad day and take it out on our kids or we don’t know how to deal with our child’s bad behavior in a healthy way, mistakes are bound to happen at some point. Even with the best intentions, any parent can fall into the trap of doing something damaging to their kids without even realizing it. While it may seem obvious that we shouldn’t compare our children to other kids or even their siblings, it can sometimes happen without us realizing it.
